  • Towel Rolling. Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe site. Help us roll clean towels from Mission Linen for staff and guest use. Once a month or a fill-in position.
  • Organizing, cleaning and sorting products stored on the trucks. Help us keep the trucks stocked and orderly, and ensure guests have what they need on each shower site. Quarterly commitment.
  • The Blue Bag Project. Help us make sure guests have enough to eat by purchasing nonperishable goods for guests. Pick up blue bags at any shower site. A list of items needed will be attached to each bag (buy some of the items, or all of them!). Take as many bags as you want to fill, as often as you choose. Take extra bags and ask friends and neighbors to shop, too. Deliver the stocked bags to any site; the team will distribute the purchased items to guests.
  • Table volunteer at shower sites. Help guests sign in, and pass out lunches. This is a weekly, bi-weekly, or even back up/on call position (only called when a regular volunteer is on vacation or out sick).
  • Guest lunch donation. Help feed our guests by making and donating 10-20 guest lunches (a sandwich, plus a cookie and fruit). Lunches are needed at the starting time of the site. This is a weekly, bi-weekly, or even back up/on call position (only called on when someone is on vacation or out sick).
